Malcolm Schwartz, M.D.

Dr. Malcolm Schwartz is a founding member of Consultants in Urology.  He received his bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC in 1967, and his medical degree from The New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, in 1972.  Dr. Schwartz trained as an Intern at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he also served his Residency in General Surgery.  He completed his Urology Residency at Bellevue Hospital Center, The Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases and The New York University Medical Center where he was Chief Resident in Urology from 1977 to 1978.  Dr. Schwartz is certified by The American Board of Urology and was formerly Chief of Urology at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, and Union Hospital in Union, New Jersey, as well as Chief of the Medical Staff and a member of the Board of Trustees of Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, New Jersey where he currently serves as a consultant.  He has been honored as a "Top Physician" in The Castle Connolly Guide, America's Top Physicians and has also received The Nurse's Choice Award from New Jersey Monthly Magazine.  Dr. Schwartz practices all aspects of Urology and has particular expertise in Male Infertility.  He is a member of The American Society of Reproductive Medicine and a consultant to Resolve, the national infertility organization.  Dr. Schwartz was honorably discharged with the rank of Lieutenant Commander after serving twenty years in the Medical Corps of the United States Naval Reserve.  He is married with four children and resides in Westfield, New Jersey. He is licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. 

Kenneth S. Ring, M.D.

Dr. Kenneth Ring earned a bachelor's of arts magna cum laude from Williams College in 1981 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 1985 where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society and received the Lange Award for Academic Excellence. He completed his preliminary surgical training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, before completing a residency in urology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University. He has authored over 18 published articles and book chapters on various Urologic topics. Dr. Ring is certified by the American Board of Urology.

He has been listed in the Castle-Connelly Guide, “Top Doctors in NY Metropolitan Area” from 1997 to 2010. He has also been selected four times as a “Top Doctor” in New Jersey Monthly as well as being listed in New York Magazine “The Best Doctors in New York” issue.  Dr. Ring’s areas of interest include pediatric urology, prostate cancer, minimally invasive therapies for benign prostatic enlargement, pelvic surgery, and endoscopic management of stone disease. Dr. Ring presently serves as Chief of Urology at Overlook Hospital in Summit. In addition, he is an executive board member of the NJ Patient CARE and access coalition.

Bernard J. Lehrhoff, M.D.

Dr Bernard Lehrhoff did his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland and graduated medical school at NJ Medical School. He did his urologic residency training at NYU Hospital, Bellevue Hospital, The Manhattan VA Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering. He specializes in urologic cancers including prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers. He is one of the national leaders in erectile dysfunction. He specializes in penile prosthesis and incontinence and has one of the busiest penile implant practices in the country. In addition, Dr Lehrhoff specializes in kidney stone disease, interstitial cystitis, male infertility, and microsurgery for peyronies disease.  Dr. Lehrhoff has been recognized as one of the Top Urologists in the Castle Connelly Guide for greater than ten years in a row and twice mentioned in NY Magazine as a Top Urologist in the NY metropolitan area. He has also been listed numerous times in NJ top Doctors.  

Mark I. Miller, M.D.

Dr. Mark Miller graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University with high honors in biochemistry in 1987 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in 1991 and completed his residency in urology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York in 1997. Dr. Miller is the author of numerous presentations and published articles on issues of urological importance. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology, and his areas of expertise include stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, female urology ,and urologic oncology. Dr. Miller has been selected three times as a "Top Doctor" in New Jersey Monthly Magazine, and he currently serves as the Vice Chairman of The Stone Center of New Jersey. 

Joshua M. Fiske, M.D.

Dr. Joshua Fiske graduated with honors from Lehigh University in 1995. He received his Medical Degree from NYU School of Medicine in 1999. He completed his Urology Residency at NYU Hospital, Bellevue Hospital and Manhattan VA Hospital where he served as the Chief Resident in 2005. He has authored several published articles in peer reviewed journals on a vairety of Urologic topics. He is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr Fiske practices all aspects of Urology with areas of expertise that include laparoscopic kidney surgery and minimally invasive treatment of kidney stones, urinary incontinence and benign prostate hypertrophy.  He is currently Chairperson of the Overlook Hospital Urology Tumor Board. Dr Fiske was listed on New Jersey Top Doctors by NJ monthly and was also given the Nurses Choice Award by NJ Monthly.

Andrew Bernstein, M.D.

Dr. Andrew Bernstein graduated from the Honors Program at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1995. He owned and operated a Silicon Valley Internet corporation before attending medical school at the Chicago Medical School where he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Bernstein completed his residency training in General Surgery and Urology at William Beaumont Hospital in 2007. He then completed a specialized fellowship in Laparoscopic and Robotic Urology (minimally invasive surgery) at the University of Chicago, graduating in 2008. He is certifed by the American Board of Urology and the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters. He has spoken to local, regional and national audiences on a variety of urologic topics, including bladder cancer, urinary incontinence and robotic prostate surgery. Dr. Bernstein is Chief of the Department of Robotic Surgery at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. He was named a 2016 Castle Connolly Top Doctor for the New York Metro Area.
